The Wallkill River School Plein Air Painters will be exhibiting their "Visions of Sugar Loaf IV" show at Bertoni Gallery, June 25 - August 30, 2009. The exhibition will be held as a two month long Silent auction so people can bid at their own convenience. Many of the starting bids are set at a very affordable price range. So now is your chance to own an original piece of art at a reasonable price. Fresh new paintings of the black dirt region, including Chester and Sugar Loaf areas, are done en plein air by local artists. The artists work in a variety of mediums including pastel, oil, acrylic and watercolors.

Come join us for the opening reception that will be held at Bertoni Gallery, 1392 Kings Highway, Sugar Loaf, NY on Saturday, June 27, 2009 from 6 - 8 p.m., You can meet and greet the artists and get a glimpse of their vision of our local scenery in a fresh new way.

5th Annual Sundays in July FREE Music and Poetry Series!
This is a free family-oriented event, open to the community and held in our peaceful sculpture garden.

This year, we’ve received funding through the Quadricentennial Community Grant Program. Funding made possible through a Hudson, Fulton, Champlain Quadricentennial Grant. This year we are including a program called “Music through the Ages.” All the musicians will be making a short presentation reflecting an element of musical history of the Hudson Valley. They will discuss various topics including the music of the civil war, hobo blues and the railroad system, bluegrass, gypsy's, Woodstock and much more. They will also discuss the influence it has had upon their own music.
