"Part of the mission at Bertoni Gallery is to inspire people to follow their own paths. It is a goal of mine to make people happy through jewelry, art, and the memories they represent or have the power to create. Jewelry, in particular, has become a connecting force between my art and my customers’ lives that lasts a lifetime." -Rachel Bertoni
Bertoni Gallery opened in the artisan hamlet of Sugarloaf, NY in 2000, hosting a small selection of fine art and jewelry and offering custom framing services. Over the past sixteen years, the business has shown the works of local artists and artisans, created a sculpture garden, and hosted several local events, such as the concert series during the Sugarloaf Fall and Spring Festivals, and Bill Perry Day, held in honor of Bill Perry, the American blues musician.
The owner and in-house designer, Rachel Bertoni, has been creating one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry since 1982, and several of her pieces have been featured in films and television, most notably in Jennifer Lopez's The Back-Up Plan and more recently in the 2015 film Helicopter Mom, starring Nia Vardalos, Skyler Samuels, and Mark Boone Jr.
