"My mission artistically is to highlight, as truthfully as I can, nature in the raw, with its many varied facets to which my creative urges respond.
The beauty of the natural would is the contstant source of my inspiration. The rivers, lakes, oceans, and forests fuel my imagination and beckon to me.
I sit with the deepest respect, in awe and wonderment, as I contemplate a particular subject, and attempt to understand the essence of the place, to reach the area's soul, if possible. Then while the adrenalin is flowing, I begin my painting and my personal tribute."
